MPPSC Mains Syllabus : Friends, in this blog, we will check the latest syllabus for the MPPSC Mains 2024 exam. The commission recently updated the scheme and syllabus on January 18, 2024. This MPPSC Mains syllabus will be applicable from Mains 2024 exam.
When starting your MPPSC preparation, it’s important not to focus solely on the Prelims and then shift to the Mains. Toppers and experts recommend preparing for the Mains exam alongside the Prelims. This approach is necessary because the MPPSC Mains syllabus is extensive and can’t be covered in just 2-3 months.
Since the Commission has removed Optional Papers from the MPPSC Mains exam, the preparation has become somewhat easier. Moreover, the Mains syllabus also helps in preparing for the Prelims, as both exams cover many common topics.
If you haven’t considered this strategy yet, it’s time to start preparing accordingly. Just to clarify, there are no optional papers or subjects in the MPPSC Mains exam.
We emphasize this once more: start your preparation with the MPPSC Mains syllabus. About two months before the Prelims exam, shift your focus to Prelims preparation.
MPPSC Mains Exam Scheme
Here is the updated scheme for the MPPSC Mains exam. The commission has made several changes recently.
The MPPSC Mains exam now consists of a total of 6 papers, each divided into Part A and Part B.

# H=Hindi / E=English
For the first four papers of the Mains Exam, you can choose to write in either English or Hindi. However, for the General Hindi Paper and the Essay Paper, you must write in Hindi.
